I got this epoxy insulator plate for €0,01 to try out and review. Unfortunately i could only select this epoxy plate and not the batteries, but i fully understand that those are too expensive to send out for review purposes.
So this review is for the epoxy plate, which is used for thermal and electrical insulation of battery packs. It looks to be reinforced with fiberglass, and measures 20,5 x 17,3 cm, and is 0,6mm thick.
I’m already familiar with g10, which is a similar fiberglass and epoxy material that’s not only used with batteries, but also as a decorative spacer material in jewelry and knife making. But while g10 comes in 1mm sheets, this epoxy plate is only 0,6mm thick, making it ideal for when you need a thin and strong spacer material. This versatile material can easily be cut with a stanley knife or a jigsaw to make any shape you need.
So even though i could not select the battery packs, i’m happy with this epoxy plate, and i will find good uses for it. Thank you seller!
